Directional Drilling

At AHUS we are directional drilling specialists. It is an economical and environmentally friendly method of installing pipelines under any obstruction including roads, rivers, buildings and almost any other obstacles. We can install sewer gas, water, electrical or internal cables without affecting the local surroundings.

It is a 3 step process:

• A pilot bore is made from entry to exit point, establishing the direction and route of the drilling
• The pilot bore is enlarged in diameter by pulling back a larger Rotating Reamer (rotating back raking tool)
• The pipeline it dragged through behind the reamer until it appears at the original hole.

When working with AHUS you will receive your own dedicated project manager who will work with you from conception of idea to completion of project. Work can be completed by our AHUS qualified, experienced and insured workforce. Alternatively our equipment and workforce can be hired to work alongside your internal team.
